Rumours has that the original Guardians of the Galaxy will have their own movie in the future after that surprising tiny cameo. Furthermore, recent reports stated that Michelle Yeoh has chosen to keep her Chinese Malaysian accent for her role in the upcoming Star Trek series set to hit the small screen soon. Starring alongside the spectacular Jackie Chan, Yeoh’s character goes undercover with Chan’s to infiltrate a drug cartel in the prison in helping the gangsters to escape. A modern day wuxia film, features Yeoh as the protagonist who decides to put an end to her assassin life that eventually led her to take up the sword again when the assassins demand the remains of a famous monk. Beautifully choreographed action and battle sequence, Michelle Yeoh takes on a whole new generation of sword fighting and hit the nostalgic feels on us from her previous kung fu movies.

6. Tomorrow Never Dies

Yes, Michelle Yeoh makes it to the list of Bond Girls with Pierce Brosnan donning the iconic suit-wearing M16 spy agent. Yeoh plays Bond’s ally, a skilled Chinese spy who was on the same mission to stop the war from waging between the Western world and China.
